What’s the difference between indica, sativa, and hybrid?

It used to refer to how the plant looked and grew, but now it’s more about effects. Sativas are typically more energizing, indicas more relaxing, and hybrids fall somewhere in the middle. That said, effects vary person to person—start low and go slow.

How do I store my cannabis to keep it fresh?

Keep it in an airtight container, ideally glass, away from sunlight, heat, and humidity. Avoid plastic bags—they let air in and can dry out your flower.

What should I know before trying edibles?

Start with a low dose—2.5 to 5mg is a good first experience. Effects take longer to kick in (30 to 90 minutes) and last longer than smoking. Be patient and don’t re-dose too early.

Can I mix cannabis with alcohol?

It’s not recommended for beginners. The effects can be unpredictable and more intense. If you choose to, go slow and know your limits.

What’s the legal limit I can carry in public?

You can carry up to 30 grams of dried cannabis (or equivalent in other formats like edibles or vapes) on you in public under Canadian law.
